How to play 2048
Move all tiles in one direction at a time. When two equal tiles collide they combine into a tile worth twice as much. A new 2 or 4 appears after every successful move.
Make room before chasing points
The board usually ends because it runs out of flexible space, not because a particular number is missing. Keep your largest tile in one corner and avoid moves that pull it into the middle.

Your best score is stored in local browser storage. There is no account, network request, or remote leaderboard.
